ProCare’s nursing PDRP programme aligns with our partner organisation Te Kāhui Kōkiri Mātanga PDRP framework.
Aligning our PDRP with Te Kāhui Kōkiri Mātanga offers many advantages for nurses across the ProCare network including:
- User-friendly web-based access for all PDRP resources
- Nursing Council of New Zealand approved
- Well-established with proven transferability and transportability
- Opportunity for resources to be shared across ProCare and Te Kāhui Kōkiri Mātanga including teaching and training, moderation, assessment, and assessors
Resources available to help completion of a Nursing Portfolio include:
- Face to face workshops on the PDRP across the network.
- Portfolio toolkit; available on ProTube which covers:
- Reasons for undertaking a portfolio, recertification/PDRP
- How to set up a portfolio and common pitfalls
- How to get started and collecting appropriate evidence
- Peer review - giving and receiving feedback
- Where to find resources
